The Common Core Standards' guiding principle is to provide clear expectations of students' need to know; unfortunately, there is less clarity in how to ensure that students are prepared for these expectations. While data-driven teaching can help us ensure our students are prepared for standards, it's extremely time-consuming and difficult to do. How can teachers possibly spend time working with their students when they're overwhelmed with data?

This presentation will include:
- The importance of using formative assessment data to drive instruction.
- Best practices for formative assessments and using data to drive instruction.
- How you can transform worksheets and quizzes into highly analytical tools that produce meaning insights instead of just subjective grades?
- Overview of our formative assessment system and how it can save time.
- And most importantly: overview of using data to meets students individual needs.
