Creating a Flipped Classroom for Better Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Flipping the classroom began by having students watch video lessons at home and then return to school to do their "homework" in class. We will take this concept and extend it a bit further to include other aspects of blended learning. Our discussions will include what can work and what may not work, what is comfortable for the teacher and what is not. After our initial exploration, we will work hands-on to define the structure of our courses and identify where video may fit best into the curriculum. Be sure to bring a laptop and/or a tablet.
